My story is unique. I started my nursing career at Lovelace Medical Center before leaving several years later to explore another opportunity. While it was a good move professionally, I was yearning to be a part of something bigger.
It is impossible to miss the changes that have taken place at Lovelace the past few years. In addition to competitive wages and excellent benefits, what drew me back was the chance to be a part of building something important. As a nurse and even as a patient, I want this hospital to be the best in Albuquerque. Being the best starts with the staff. I'm proud to be part of a team dedicated to making this is a great place for nurses to work - not just those we hire but those who are already here. We value the nurses’ input and want to empower nursing staff. That's a commitment we've made as an organization, and we have the support of management at every level. This is an exciting time. With all of the renovations and the physical changes that have taken place, there's a real sense of enthusiasm here. It's great to be a part of that. It feels good to be back "home."
