I always knew I wanted a career that allowed me to help people, but it wasn’t until my son was older that I decided to go back to school and become a radiology technologist.
As soon as I moved to Albuquerque, I knew I wanted to work at Lovelace Women’s Hospital. My husband manages the hospital’s cardiopulmonary services, so I already knew what a great place it is. I put my name in to do PRN and jumped at the chance to go full time as soon as there was an opening.
One of my favorite things about the hospital is its size. We’re the biggest “little” hospital I’ve ever worked in. Even though we’re constantly growing and expanding, it’s still the kind of place where you walk through the hall and people look you in the eye and greet you by name.
I feel lucky to have found a home at Lovelace Women’s Hospital!
